Watch artists of all ages and skill levels transform sidewalks into colorful chalk masterpieces on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 8:00 AM - 1:45 PM. From beginners and hobby artists to experienced professionals, everyone is invited to participate and create.
Festival visitors are encouraged to explore the artwork throughout the day and vote for their favorites in the Viewers’ Choice Award while artists work from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Voting will continue after judging and close at 4:00 PM.
Chalk artwork will remain on display as a temporary public exhibition throughout the festival and naturally fade or wash away over time.
Awards will be announced at 5:00 PM at the Main Stage Gazebo at Civic Center Park.
ARTISTS:
We welcome artists of all skill levels and ages, from youth to adults, beginners to professionals. Whether you are trying chalk art for the first time or returning as a seasoned artist, CHALK THE WALK is a fun, welcoming, and creative way to be part of the festival.
Participate in our juried CHALK THE WALK competition featuring cash awards, prizes, and a Viewers’ Choice Award.
This is a FREE event. Pre-registration is appreciated, but same-day registration is welcome on the day of the event (space permitting).
