Springville City Flag Design Contest
MESSAGE
Dear Residents and Friends of Springville,
Springville is a city rich in history, tradition, and a strong sense of community. From our proud pioneer heritage to our celebrated legacy as Utah’s “Art City,” we are a city deeply rooted in creativity, resilience, and shared values. Our vibrant culture and natural beauty are matched only by the pride we take in calling this place home. As your City Council, we are always seeking ways to honor our past while looking toward the future. Today, we are excited to introduce an initiative that will unite us all: the creation of a new city flag.
A city flag is more than just a piece of fabric. It is a symbol of our collective identity, our heritage, and our aspirations for the future. This project is a tribute to the generations who built Springville from humble beginnings into the thriving and artistic community we cherish today. It also reflects our commitment to leaving a legacy for those who will follow.
We envision a flag that captures the essence of Springville—a design that reflects our pioneer spirit, our unique story as “Art City,” and the pride we feel for our city. To achieve this, we need your help. We are inviting all residents to participate in this exciting journey. Your ideas, creativity, and input will be essential as we develop and select a design that truly represents us all.
We have created a dedicated webpage to guide you through the process. Whether you are an artist, a history enthusiast, or simply someone who loves Springville, your voice matters. Together, we can create a flag that we will all be proud to see flying high—a flag that honors our past and inspires our future.
Thank you for your love and support of our wonderful city. Let’s make this a project that brings us together and showcases the very best of Springville.
Warm regards,
Your Mayor, City Council, and Community Board
