Charlee Sorensen is a 21 year old junior at Utah Valley University pursuing a BA in Vocal Performance. Charlee grew up in the small town of Aurora, Utah and graduated from Richfield High School in 2022. Charlee has been taking voice and dance lessons for as long as she can remember and her first love has always been the arts. She was crowned Miss Utah’s Teen in 2020 and went on to place top 10 at Miss Americas Teen and was awarded the overall talent award. This title reinforced her passion for leadership, service, and empowering future leaders. She still looks for every opportunity to serve her community and the people around her. After graduating, Charlee spent an incredible summer in Sicily, Italy studying opera at the Mediterranean Opera Studio/Festival. She performed her first operas and studied with industry professionals which grew her love and dedication for opera. Charlee is currently serving as Miss Provo, where she is promoting her community service initiative- “Mentors Matter.” Charlee looks forward to one day obtaining a masters in Vocal Performance, having a family of her own, and traveling around the world. |
