Hailing from the coastal town of Havelock, North Carolina, Phillip’s journey has shaped his music into something deeply personal yet universally relatable. After losing his mother at a young age, he faced the challenges of chronic pain from three back surgeries and the complexities of multiple mental health diagnoses.
