The Springville Museum of Art invites all artists in Utah to participate in the 95th Annual Spring Salon. This exhibition is a juried competition that showcases the diversity and quality of contemporary Utah art.

 Come celebrate trains with the Springville Museum of Art! In conjunction with the State of Utah's Spike 150 project this family-friendly exhibition will showcase trains, railroads, workers and passengers in Utah and American art. 

 
Youth Art Competition

January 9, 2019 - August 3, 2019 

This exhibition will highlight imagined worlds, characters, and ideas as depicted by over 20 contemporary Utah artists working in fantasy and science fiction.

New Acquisitions

The artworks in this exhibition represent a partnership between the Springville Museum of Art and the Art Renewal Center, a premier exhibition venue for artists working in the classical tradition. Each year, one Utah artist is selected from their juried competition to be featured in the Museum in an effort to support and celebrate traditional Utah artists.

This exhibition takes a deeper look at a work from our permanent collection, Entertaining: Favorite Ladies II, by Jeanne Leighton Lundberg Clarke. This colorful painting serves as a lens on how artists use patterns, portraits, and still-life in their paintings. This family friendly exhibition uses various interactives to help explore playful patterns in other works from our permanent collection. 


Annual Spiritual & Religious Youth Art Competition

In celebration of the Museum's 80th birthday, we are excited to open a new exhibition reflecting on the narrative of this historic building. Photographs, blueprints, and memoirs gathered from the Springville community invite visitors to explore the history of the oldest art museum in Utah. 


SMA: Milestones and Memories

Using works from the Springville Museum of Art's permanent collection, "Round Up" celebrates and examines the icons and ideals that shape the ongoing visions of the American West.
